March 2008		Innovative Components Inc. of Schaumburg Illinois acquired the assets of their competitor US Knobs of Decatur Illinois.  The staff at Innovative is very excited by this acquisition and the opportunities presented with this gain.  US Knobs had a distinct product line as well as some innovative technology, which will enable Innovative to further satisfy their customers needs.  The acquisition will expand their plastic knob line by 16 knobs as well as enhance their capabilities to manufacture CNC screw machined parts and quick release pins such as ring plungers, positive locking pins, and detent pins.
